Class Evaluation            Some things i liked about computer class is how we would always come in everyday and sit down quietly. Everything is always organized and clean. Each student is always on task no matter what and always doing their work. Mr. Haymore is always in a good mood and always tells us what to do and what to work on.             Some thing I didn't like about the class is how he is very strict and will kick you out for any little thing you do. No one doesn't really like to talk but i do so i do not like that about the class. I do not know anyone in the class ether except Andy. Another thing is when everyone typing the buttons that sound gets hella annoying and I dint like them.         Some things I can do better in the class is to try to type faster and use typing tutor more. maybe next time be on time and early to the class because its warm in here. i can start to write more and do more then i should so i can always get extra credit.           A hig

New Years  Reflection:  It is traditional on New Year's Eve to reflect on your life and what you wish for in the coming year. In doing so, some people become preoccupied with comparing themselves to others in terms of success, money, and prestige. Thinking about what you wish for in terms of personal and professional future can cause   anxiety  and insecurity. For example, Lydia, who is applying for an academic position, has convinced herself that only working for an Ivy League school will give her the recognition and respect she craves. Yet she acknowledges she’d probably be happier teaching at a small liberal arts college.Similarly, Greg is hoping to find a boyfriend whose  charm , wit,  intelligence , and good looks will dazzle his friends. That’s why Greg consistently rejects guys who do not look like models or sound like college professors. As a result, he remains single. For both Lydia and Greg, not knowing whether or not their wishes will come true is unnerving.Growing

Body-Mind-Spirit Student Success Statement "Take responsibility  for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for  your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being." Reflection:   Every animal on this planet has an inner instinct or insight. We’ve heard stories about Elephants grabbing people and running for high ground as a tsunami approaches all in danger. For centuries, scientists have said to watch animals for predictions of bad weather. According to the  USGS  in an article entitled “ Animals & Earthquake Prediction “: The earliest reference we have to unusual animal behavior prior to a significant earthquake is from Greece in 373 BC.  Rats, weasels, snakes, and centipedes reportedly left their homes and headed for safety several days before a destructive earthquake.  Anecdotal evidence abounds of animals, fish, birds, reptiles, and insects exhibiting strange behavior anywhere from weeks to seconds before an earthquake.  However, consistent and reliable

Student Success Statement "We need the  courage to Start and Continue what we  should do, and the  courage to Stop what  we shouldn't do." Reflection;   Courage has always been needed in the world. The form that the courage takes has evolved over time. In the beginning of the human race, courage was mostly of a physical nature. Each day required courage just to get through it. When a person awakened in the morning, they did not know if they would be killed before the day was over. Courage is the flip side of fear — or, stated in another way, it is the outcome of a positive response to fear. When so much courage was needed simply to stay alive, relationships were more about survival than understanding. That is not to say that people still didn't develop deep relationships, but most relationships were founded on a physical survival mode.

Another Student Success Statement "When you tell one lie, it leads to another" Paul Hatch  Reflection:  When I think about that game now, I think the person required to tell the truth had the most difficult job. Why do I say that? Because sometimes I‘m afraid to tell the truth even though I hold truth-telling as a major value. When I say “I,” I don‘t mean my conscious self, I mean my subconscious self. I‘m not aware that I‘m not telling myself the truth. It‘s that at a subconscious level, I‘m afraid to access my deepest feelings. And, like the beautiful poem, Our Deepest Fear, by Marianne Williamson, it‘s usually because I‘m afraid to stop being small and to dream big – afraid to trust and believe in myself or afraid to admit that I want a more expansive life.
